Infant Massage Classes for Parents and Other CaregiversParents and other caregivers learn the simple, effective massage routine of the International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM) and Infant Massage USA with a certified infant massage instructor (CIMI), using their own babies and dolls provided in the class. The class is baby-driven: whether baby decides to sleep, cry, or nurse, one caregiver can still practice with a doll, and learning will still take place. Class will meet for an hour and a half, once a week, for 5 weeks, learning each piece of the routine in the first four sessions, and putting them all together in the fifth.
Parenting–particularly being at home with a baby and other littles–can be isolating and sometimes seem stressful and overwhelming (and I’m saying this from personal experience). Getting out once a week to meet your teacher and/or the rest of a class of families can build support, confidence, community relationships, and joy! Benefits of Infant Massage
