Private Instruction
Want to take this class more privately and at your convenience? Inquire about private classes (2 people or more) either in my home studio or the location of your choice. Perhaps you want to travel to Bellingham with a fellow LMT, or have me come to your school or clinic for continuing education.
Classes in Bellingham and WA State
Prices differ depending on whether the private class takes class in Bellingham or another location, and on how many people take the class. Privately-contracted classes begin at $365 for the first two students, then drop to $200 for each additional student up to 14 students total. You must provide me with a list of students for certification purposes and complete payment within 4 weeks of class date. I will refund $150 per student (minus $50 admin free) up one week before class date in the event of extreme illness, emergency, etc. |
Classes Outside of WA State
Generally, I am contracted by massage schools when I am teaching breast massage out-of-state. However, I am open to teaching on a contracted basis out-of-state, particularly if a student or clinic is willing to host me. Class costs are negotiable, but similar to above. |
Instructor Profile
Lynna Dunn Fuller, LMT, MA60023935, NCBTMB Member #2000620/Instructor #1000798
My name is Lynna Dunn Fuller, and I am a licensed massage therapist and owner of Jubilee Family Massage. You can view my full profile here.
Having been a student of Barbara Helynn Heard Robles since my massage school days, and having been trained and mentored by her to do and teach breast and chest work in WA state, I knew that I wanted to help train others to do this work when she announced her retirement from teaching, early in 2021. A long and much-respected massage therapist and instructor, Barbara was a key voice in the 2015-2016 discussions to define what became “WAC 246-830-555 Breast Massage,” in order to keep the breast/chest area within scope of practice for WA State LMTs. In November of 2021, I assisted Barbara in teaching her final breast and chest massage class in Seattle.
“Incorporating the Breasts and Chest: 16 CEs for LMTs” is based strongly on the work and routines developed by Barbara, which I learned under her and am using with her permission. Barbara’s work is strongly based on her lomi lomi background, and I will be teaching these routines as she would, with additions and suggestions of my own. As Barbara often stated, this work “should more accurately be referred to as “full chest massage”; while it includes the breast tissue, the primary target is the chest wall deep to the breast tissue.” Including full chest and breast massage within full body massage sessions supports healthy breathing, stress relief, shoulder and neck treatment, and general wellbeing. While some clients will have specific breast tissue issues and experiences (pregnancy, cancer, reductions, augmentations, etc.) and can get great help and relief from massage in this area, all clients can receive great benefit from this work.
